Course develops understanding in a specialist area of law, and its application within practical contexts.
Entry requirements
Applicants must either: have completed the Law Society Finals Examination, Legal Practice Programme, Bar Finals Programme, Bar Vocational Course/Bar Professional Training Course; enrolled on Northumbria's full time Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) or Full Time Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the same time as they enrol to the LLM Advanced Legal Practice; enrolled on Northumbria's Part Time BPTC, or Part Time LPC and have commenced their second year.
International/English Language Requirements: IELTS 6.5 TOEFL (575 paper-based, 90 internet-based)
Course modules
Legal research module, designed to enable students to update writing and research skills and gain experience and feedback on working at Masters-level.
