Summary Information
The Business School, which comprises the disciplines of accounting and finance, economics, management and property, encourages and fosters interdisciplinary engagement and research; research students are very much encouraged to participate in seminar programmes across the range of disciplines and to discuss their research with staff outwith the specific focus of their PhD.
Entry requirements
The minimum requirement is a good 1st degree equivalent to a British 2nd Class Honours degree or above in any discipline; non-standard qualifications are acceptable if accompanied by considerable practitioner experience; applicants whose 1st language is not English require proof of English language proficiency; a 4 week business skills and communication course run by the language centre is available for those without English language proficiency.
