Entry requirements
An undergraduate Honours degree in a relevant subject (accounting or finance-based 1st degree) from a suitably quality assured university (normally the equivalent of a UK Honours degree Upper 2nd Class); exceptional candidates with degrees in engineering, mathematics or economics can also be considered; the University welcomes applications from a diverse range of candidates so also considers previous work experience alongside academic qualifications; candidates are encouraged to submit a detailed CV; candidates who lack the prerequisite academic qualification or equivalent may be required to attend an interview.
Course modules
1st semester: accounting and security valuation; research methods in finance and accounting; corporate finance; 2nd semester: accounting and capital markets; performance management and governance; plus, choice of 1 from: options, futures and other derivatives; international finance; money and banking; dissertation.
