Summary Information

The programme has been designed for 2 kinds of potential participant: younger, ambitious lawyers who wish to complement their legal education and related employment experience with a recognised management qualification that enhances their career prospects within the legal arena and those lawyers who have achieved managerial positions within a legal organisation, who seek the relevant knowledge base and associated personal development to support and enhance the management of their organisation; the programme has been designed to maximise the potential of those who already have significant work experience within a legal environment and who have the capability and ambition to advance to the highest levels of management within such organisations.

Entry requirements

Honours degree or a professional qualification, and have at least 3 years management experience; exceptionally, candidates without these qualifications but who have significant work experience and can demonstrate the potential to meet the learning objectives of the programme, may also be admitted; for students whose 1st language is not English evidence of having reached the equivalent of IELTS 6.5, TOEFL (575 paper-based, 90 internet-based), is required before entry; the University also accepts many other English language qualifications.
