This programme offers a comprehensive examination of the role of law within the contemporary healthcare environment offering an excellent view on the issues of concern in the medical practice; the course also provide a sound knowledge and understanding of the organisations and institutions associated with medical law; involved in the course are practical concepts underpinned by theoretical perspectives and ethical perspectives in which medical law operates; there is a 15-credit single module legal research methodology which is compulsory for those who do not have postgraduate research training; in order to achieve a specific named LLM, students must study at least 30 credits worth of taught modules in the designated subject area and the dissertation must also be in that area.
Entry requirements
Lower 2nd Class Honours degree in law or Equivalent; applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS score of 7.
