Summary Information
This course offers students a thorough grounding in the law of the European Union and the European Convention on Human Rights; the course is linked to the Institute for the Study of European Laws at City University London, a research centre that brings together academics, practitioners and policy makers working in the field; students are able to get involved in the Institute’s activities and participate in the conferences and seminars it organises; the course covers, at an advanced level, the core aspects of institutional and substantive EU law and the European Convention on Human Rights, with a particular focus on contemporary developments.
Entry requirements
Very strong academic potential and good English are required; normally a degree in law or an appropriate professional qualification and experience; evidence of at least Upper 2nd Class Honours ability is looked for, but full credit is given for professional experience.
