In drawing upon the international expertise of research-active staff, the programmes develop cross-disciplinary knowledge and prepare students for careers in both the private and public sectors.
Postgraduate study
Highly qualified academics with extensive expertise in teaching at the postgraduate and post-experience courses teach on our graduate programmes. Academic staff pursue novel research to an international standard, which is drawn upon in teaching. This expertise is utilised from a range of disciplines within the University and School. The intention is to combine a foundation in business disciplines combined with more specialist options, culminating in either a major piece of research (in the form of a dissertation) or an intensive summer school and critical studies paper. Our programmes draw on the experience and expertise of academics from the University of Aberdeen alongside visiting scholars from other reputable Business Schools. In previous years we have welcomed colleagues from USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. The composition of visiting academics teaching on our programmes varies on an annual basis and enables us to provide a broader and more international learning experience.
