All our MScs and diplomas are approved by the Institution of Civil Engineers, the Institution of Structural Engineers and the Institution of Highways and Transportation as counting towards chartered engineer status.
Postgraduate Research Degree Programmes
We have one of the most active research communities within civil engineering in the UK. The research carried out within the department is of an international standard and the department was awarded a top grade of 5 in the national Research Assessment Exercise. This recognises that we have achieved international levels of excellence in the majority of our research activity.
