Middlesex University
Established as a University in 1992, Middlesex is widely regarded as an excellent international provider of higher education, producing highly employable and successful graduates. The roots of Middlesex University can be traced back to the late 1880s, when two educational institutions opened in north London - St Katherine's College and the Hornsey School of Arts and Crafts. Both would become part of Middlesex Polytechnic, which was founded in 1973. Since 2000 we have been engaged in a campus redevelopment programme and, in 2006 the University announced that the majority of its activities would gradually be based at its Hendon campus.
We have invested significantly in our research staff and facilities and this was reflected in the latest Research Assessment Exercise which found that 77 per cent of our research was 'internationally recognised'. We are a pioneer in university services for business - turning our expertise and teaching into practical advantage for organisations seeking to stay on the cutting edge.
