Northumbria University

Originally established as a polytechnic, Northumbria University received university status in 1992 and is now a large metropolitan university. Northumbria is in the premier division for the quality of teaching that it provides its students, modularised courses means that there is more to choose from and this allows for flexibility.

Located in Newcastle, the University is surrounded by a multitude of atmospheres ranging from the bustling inner city life to the more tranquil golden beaches and wild moorland. The University has approximately 23,000 students, the majority of them full-time, though there are a number who choose to take advantage of the part-time and short courses that the University offers.
