University of Wales, Newport
Newport became a full Constituent Institution of the University of Wales in 2003, and is based over two campuses. One of these is based within the bustling city centre of Newprt and the other within the beautiful village of Caerleon offering students both city and country life.
In 2005 Newport was noted to have received the greatest increase in Undergraduate degree applications of any UK university. Boasting a rich and varied history the University can trace its roots back to 1841. The mission of the University is to bring learning to the heart of the community, responding to their needs whilst enabling individuals from all backgrounds to achieve their goals.
